Songbird RV Park is one of the newest and best campgrounds near Palestine TX. We had our official grand opening in March of 2020. When the campground was built, great care was taken to preserve the natural landscaping which includes mature trees that provide welcome shade. In fact, our owner chose the name “Songbird” because she stood under the big trees and heard so many birds singing, she decided the name was perfect.
We are only five miles from Palestine TX. Guests tell us they like being close to area attractions, but enjoy our peaceful, country setting. We are off Highway 287 in Elkhart with easy access in and out of the campground, which is important for large RVs or motorhomes.

Campground Amenities
We are locally owned and operated, so you are in good hands at Songbird RV Park. Besides our Southern hospitality, we have amenities to make your stay more comfortable. There’s a laundry building with coin operated washers and dryers and a store that sells RV supplies and convenience items. A wooded nature trail surrounds our campground and there’s a bark park for your four-legged family members. Gather with friends and family around our community fire pits or participate in activities like Bingo and Potluck Dinners.
